In the spirit of Thanksgiving I wanted to give you some insight into one of the greatest places for sharing and discovering presentations.
Now is the time to build community on SlideShare. A number of us have been using SlideShare.Net for nearly a year. Recent innovations have really put it over the top in terms of obvious business value. The audience on that site has grown significantly as well providing a great opportunity to get technology cross over audiences.
I just got back from a trip to Europe where I presented at Teched Europe in Berlin, Moscow SharePoint User Group, Stockholm SharePoint Exchange Forum, UK SharePoint Day with the Experts and Bournemouth UK SharePoint User Group. All of those decks are now on SlideShare.

10 Benefits of SlideShare
1. Save on bandwidth and storage – up to 100MB per deck with apparently unlimited storage of presentations, and whitepapers (new!)
2. Better tracking per file including views, downloads, and comments
3. Better Exposure to a broader audience
4. New Integration with publishing decks to Linked in, Facebook, and integrated twitter widgets
5. Sufficiently Rich social media profiles with comments, tagging, events/groups, alerts, activity feeds, and following, including related content and more by this user (try the new toy Karaoke for a new way of browsing based on tags and visuals)
6. Inline viewing to save the reader from having to download before viewing
7. Include licensing restrictions included in download to provide protection, including view only, PDF, or full PPT/PPTX download – you choose what you want to provide
8. Rich forming community around SharePoint (3696) results (See below for list of SharePoint people)
9. User and Group Search in addition to presentation and document search
10. Sharing of your uploads and favorite presentations not only in your profile, but on facebook and twitter
