Time is getting close.  I hope to see you there!  The conference in Boston last year was a big hit.  Tons of SharePoint people gathered for that event.  The next big SharePoint reunion is this one. The page of pictures reminds me of a high school year book.  Would be fun to one of these days put together a SharePoint Yearbook for the global community.  Wouldn’t that be awesome!  Maybe we should get SDTimes to put it together for us.

Was great catching up with Jared Spataro who will be also doing the keynote at SPTECHCON.  We’ve synced up our sessions and I think they nicely dovetail.

The most important decisions you'll make in a SharePoint deployment relate to the service application architecture.  There are nearly 20 service applications and figuring them out and configuring them can be a very daunting task.  A common deployment mistake is to simply install all services not knowing what is needed.  We'll take an approach at looking at these services and how they should be configured for best performance and high availability.
